Artist Statement

As a child, I took for granted that everyone saw the world as I did: excitingly beautiful, and a constant source of inspiration. The camera I chose as a prize when I was eight years old eventually melted under the sun, but I still hold dear all the images captured by this wide eyed girl who sailed through childhood, trying to fit in, and dreaming of all the adventures this world had to offer.
Years later, I sought to share my vision with the world. I may sometimes shock complacent souls with the reality of an imperfect world, but also seek to inspire with artistic compositions landscapes. My ultimate goal is to empower others in their search for the often repressed self that lies within.
